Duties:
Manages small to medium size projects from inception to handover
- Reviewing project proposals and plans.
- Reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Supervising commissioning activities and maintaining high workmanship standards.
- Supervise construction activity to ensure the project execution is in line with technical specifications.
- Actively participates in checking the readiness of project drawings, operating and maintenance manuals and other final documents at the project completion stage.
- Attend clarification meetings with Clients.
- Actively participates in monitoring progress against the project schedule and budget.
- Raises project scheduling and budget concerns with first line manager and manages corrective actions. Lead coordination between operation and consultants.
- Coordinates with operations to complete the scope aspects of the projects by actively participates in formulating and evaluating solutions to ensure alignment.
- Review and advices on fabrication, shop drawings and material submittals by contractors.
- Participate in design review meetings with EPC/EPCM/consultants and contributes to design optimization and the value engineering program
- Supports POV activities to ensure project is smoothly handed over to operation on schedule
- Drives continuous improvement of initiatives to ensure project quality is of a best practice standard.
